Our initiatives

Where charitable support goes to work.

Our initiatives deliver the public-benefit side of every Sovereign Loop: the planning, skills, care, and access that markets rarely fund on their own.

Community Planning & Readiness

Every Loop begins with the people who will live with it.

Before anything is built, we listen. Community members, local leaders, and public partners define what matters most, and we help turn those priorities into a plan the whole community can stand behind.

What it includes
  • Community listening sessions and needs assessments
  • Resilience and feasibility planning
  • Support for public partners preparing to enter a partnership

Education & Workforce

Skills for the careers a healthier economy creates.

New systems need people who can run them. We invest in the skills that let a community operate, maintain, and grow its own essentials, so opportunity stays close to home.

What it includes
  • Scholarships and school programs
  • Technical certification in energy, water, agriculture, and health support
  • Pathways from training into local employment

Community Health & Nutrition

Prevention and nourishment, close to home.

Health begins long before a clinic visit. We support education, nutrition, and community wellness programs that help people build health where they live, developed with licensed providers, including our sister company PurHealth.

Why it matters

U.S. health spending per person is nearly double that of peer nations, yet average life expectancy is about 3.7 years shorter: 79.0 years versus 82.7 in 2024.

  • Community wellness events
  • Research collaborations on community health outcomes

Water & Energy Access

Essentials first, for those who need them most.

Infrastructure alone doesn’t guarantee access. We help make sure the places and people who most need clean water and reliable power aren’t the last to receive them.

What it includes
  • Clean water for schools, clinics, and shelters
  • Reliable backup power for essential public facilities
  • Access support for households in need

Research & Shared Learning

What works, measured and published openly.

Integrated systems are new, and they deserve rigorous scrutiny. With academic partners, we study what changes for people and places, and we publish the results, including the lessons that don’t fit a success story.

What it includes
  • Environmental and community health outcome studies
  • Open reports and data summaries
  • Shared learning with communities and practitioners

Funding

How our initiatives are funded.

Our initiatives will be funded by charitable grants and gifts, including support from our humanitarian partner, the Stichting Chardet Foundation. Where an initiative involves a partner company connected to our leadership, we intend to say so openly.
